Dungeons and Dragons with Nikki Lewis

Grab your dice and your imagination as we talk the classic role playing game Dungeons and Dragons with friend of all of us and spouse to one of us, Nikki Lewis, who is Producer Sam's wife and Lynne and Leslie's oldest friendship. We discuss the bad rap the game gets, and the awesome thing it actually is. This was a really, really fun one, and we hope you like it.

Nikki Lewis is a licensed professional counselor who loves her family, animals (we have 9 furry and scaly friends in our home!), and listening to 90s R & B. She has been a professional counselor for 6 years and during that time, she has worked with adult individuals, juvenile offenders, families, and couples. She is especially passionate about helping interracial couples navigate some of the challenges that can arise in relationships between people of different cultures, races, or racialized ethnicities.

Nikki is also a certified therapeutic game master and is currently running a D & D therapy group called Nat 20 Insights with Prism Integrated Health in Austin, TX. This group allows clients the opportunity to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to face challenges in a safe environment, which helps to build confidence and self-esteem. It also allows adults to have fun and PLAY, which is so important, no matter what your age.

Although Nikki currently resides in Texas, she still bleeds purple and black and took great joy in the Cowboys and Texans losses (especially the Texans!) Let’s go, Ravens!!
